Photo Call

Good Evening and welcome to the Theatre once again. Tonight the *Objet* is a
PHOTO

You can take any photo, family, newspaper cutting, internet, and all you have to do is alter it or decorate it. I took one I found in a drawer of my daughter on her Birthday in 1998, and added my favourite papers, and some grungeboard, and covered her in glossy accents, hence the little dots! These are air bubbles!!!
For those of you who take part this fortnight, there is the added extra of blog candy! Yah! I hear from a corner of the theatre. All you have to do is mention the challenge and the blog candy on your blog , add your altered photo link in the comments, and you are in tit to win it!
Here is the candy-all of these new stamps from The Artistic Stamper. The winner will randomly chosen on 14th March.

I look forward to seeing your creations, which will be fabulous as always

Tag Theatre continued.....

I cannot believe that we are in 2009. It only seems like yesterday we were celebrating the Millenium! I have to say I have been lax , as the theatre has been a bit dark this Christmas *sad*, but all the festivities, and pantos, and all the eating and drinking has meant that the theatre has been very quiet. So I have decided to continue the theatre of the tags until next weekend, when we will have a new performance. Yah!
Of course you now have another week to create a tag in any shape or form you like (see Minxy's for inspiration). There is a fab tin up for grabs if you can create and show before next Saturday!
here are some of the gorgeous creations that have been made so far
So the challenge is to create an out of this world, never seen before humble tag! Make it your own, paint, sew, decorate, stamp, cut it out, Imagine!
Of course the star of the show, Julie, has given you food for thought, so please go create and show us yours!
Happy New Year

Saturday Performance

Hi, once again the theatre is full, waiting in anticipation for the fortnightly performance. Thank you to all those who participated in the last performance. A big round of applause to you!
This week, the humble TAG is in the spotlight!, and we have another guest designer for you. May I present
This what Julie says about herself I'm married and have two sons aged 10 & 13. I have been crafting for a few years and especially love card making and scrapbooking. I created the Inspirational Blogs and co-created Arty Girlz Challenge Blog, Blogging has opened up a whole new world for me I love it and love that I can visit blogs from all over the world at the touch of a button.
Here is her performance for tonight, and I just adore what she has done with the not so humble tag!
Julie says "Seeing as its Christmas in a fortnight I had to do Christmas themed. The little tag book will hang from my tree when I can get my DH to get it down from the loft lol. As you can see by the fourth photo I plan to journal memories from Christmas on the back."
So, I hope you have enjoyed tonight's performance, and seeing as it is Christmas, I have a gorgeous Tim Holtz lunch box tin, absolutely perfect for altering as a Christmas present for a reader. All you have to do is comment, make a link back to Objet D'Art Challenge Blog, and if you get time in this busy period, make a tag! The winner will be chosen in 2 weeks time when the next performance starts.
Keep those creative juices flowing, think outside the box, and pull out your favourite bits and bobs and show us what you can do.
Happy Creating

Understudy night!

Tonight the show used an understudy for the main part, and he chose his prop carefully from the array of Kitchen utensils, and decided to transform it with coloured pipe cleaners and aluminium foil!
For someone who is not really into playing the principal part, I was impressed with his creation.
For those of you who would like to win some blog candy donated by our understudy, all you have to do is name his creation!
The winner will be chosen on Saturday night when the next performance starts.

Happy Creating

Dress Rehearsal

The stage has been set, the lighting is being put up, and the costumes are being prepared. The actors have been rehearsing , and are almost word perfect, and well, the props are being pulled out of the cupboard, put in place, moved about a bit, and being listed in the programmes! Why do you ask? Well, in the theatre of crafting here in blogland, they are the most important! To whet your appetite until saturday, here are a couple of possible props for you to win:
All you have to do is sit back, and relax if you are already a follower, or if you want you can comment, or even leave a trail to the theatre on your blog. To do this just add the logo on the sidebar and link it to this site.
Opening night is not far off.....

Finally I am back...

For those of you who are eagerly awaiting the start of this blog challenge, don't despair, I am now back with 2 working arms! Yeah! . I was in the middle of making my artwork for the challenge when I broke my right arm, and consequently couldn't finish the piece I had started!

My mojo has taken a little step back, but I am sorting that out (come back all is forgiven!) and hope to start this challenge blog properly within the next couple of weeks.

To know when it starts add yourself as a follower, and keep checking back.

I shall be giving away blog candy to my followers in the first week of the challenge too!
