Midweek Performance

It seems to have gone a bit quiet in the theatre, maybe everyone is Christmas shopping? Karen stunned us wuth her rendition of a canvas and tonight she shows us her other piece which is also gorgeous, and worth a closer look.
The triangle canvas was made using balsa wood for the frame and canvas on a roll (the canvas on a roll was about a £1 from one of those cheap shops and is a really long roll!) The balsa wood and canvas was all stuck together using superglue (I don’t do nails and hammers if I can help it as my fingers always get in the way!). I stamped some images onto tissue paper then mod podged it to the triangle canvas, the coloured it with some Colourwash Sprays – the edges and corners have Antique linen Crackle paint on. The butterfly and main image are stamped onto acetate.
I think the canvas speaks for itself.....
Happy Creating
Jennie
